Howdy,
I’m James.

It started with a dusty camera borrowed from a friend’s shelf. I took it on my first trip abroad, and the habit stuck. Thirty-five countries later, photography remains my favorite excuse to get out and explore.

These days, I work with a Leica M6 with 28mm and 50mm Summilux lenses. Film gives the work a consistent, imperfect character - something that feels earned rather than novel.

When I’m not planning the next trip, you’ll find me trying to keep up with my two kids, pulling a shot of espresso, or keeping my ’88 Land Cruiser running. The goal remains the same: document a life well lived, with a little grit and a lot of gratitude.
